How to Take Your Measurements
Need to take your measurements at home? While we always recommend getting professionally measured, here's everything you need to know to get the job done at home!
How to Measure Your Bust:
Wearing the undergarments that you will wear with the dress, wrap the measuring tape around your back and under your arms at the fullest part of your bust.
How to Measure Your Waist:
Stand up straight and bend to the side, the crease created is your natural waist. Wrap tape around the narrowest part of your natural waist.
How to Measure Your Hips
Stand with your feet together, wrap the tape around the fullest part of your hips and seat.
How to Measure a Hollow to Hem (Length):
Most dresses come with a standard length measurement, but some designers offer a custom hollow-to-hem. Your hollow-to-hem measurement is determined by measuring from the center of your collarbone (hollow) to the bottom (hem) of your dress.
How to measure length
Stand up tall and straight. Hold the tape measure half way between the neck and the outside of the shoulder at the front of the torso and measure from there to where you would like the skirt to finish on the thigh. The same for the back.
